These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Recon0x ("the Service"), an AI-powered automated penetration testing platform operated by Meetalent ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Service Description

Recon0x provides automated penetration testing services powered by artificial intelligence. The Service includes:

  • Quick Scan (free): 18 passive security checks on any domain. No account required.
  • Full Penetration Test (paid): comprehensive, AI-driven security assessment including external reconnaissance, authenticated testing, API testing, and proof-of-concept exploits. Delivered as a detailed report with findings and remediation guidance.

2. Authorization and Scope

By submitting a domain for testing, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of the target domain, or you have obtained explicit written authorization from the domain owner to conduct penetration testing.
  • You will complete the required DNS TXT record verification before any full penetration test is executed.
  • You understand that unauthorized testing of systems you do not own or have permission to test may violate applicable laws. All liability for unauthorized testing rests entirely with you.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any test if we have reasonable grounds to believe the target is not authorized.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to the following conditions when using the Service:

  • Only test domains you own or are explicitly authorized to test.
  • Do not use findings, exploits, or techniques discovered through the Service to attack, compromise, or damage any system.
  • Do not redistribute, resell, or publicly disclose reports or findings without the consent of the domain owner.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the scanning engine or its methodology.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Full penetration tests are priced at $990 USD per target domain.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Refund policy: if our penetration test produces no findings for your target, you are entitled to a full refund. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of report delivery.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Penetration testing may cause temporary disruptions to the target system, including increased load, service slowdowns, or brief downtime. By ordering a test, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
  • Recon0x is not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from vulnerabilities discovered during testing, including exploitation of those vulnerabilities by third parties.
  • Reports and findings are provided on an advisory basis. They represent the state of security at the time of testing and do not constitute a guarantee that no other vulnerabilities exist.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific test in question.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Reports belong to you. All penetration test reports, findings, and deliverables generated for your target are your property. You may use them internally, share them with stakeholders, or include them in compliance documentation.
  • Methodology belongs to us. The scanning engine, AI models, testing techniques, and underlying technology remain the exclusive intellectual property of Recon0x.

7. Confidentiality

All findings, reports, and vulnerability data are treated as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your results to any third party without your explicit written consent. This includes, but is not limited to: vulnerability details, severity assessments, proof-of-concept exploits, and remediation recommendations.

8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the relationship at any time by written notice.
  • Upon termination, your account data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements for payment records.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, particularly the authorization and acceptable use provisions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with French law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
